Why your website is slow — and what actually fixes it

Most slow sites in Pakistan are not slow because of hosting. They are slow because of what the page is asked to load.

Why your website is slow — and what actually fixes it

When a business tells us their site is slow, hosting is usually blamed first. It is rarely the main cause.

The usual culprits are simpler: photographs uploaded straight from a phone at 4MB each, a dozen plugins each loading its own scripts, fonts pulled from three different services, and a homepage slider nobody scrolls past.

Start by measuring rather than guessing. Run the page through PageSpeed Insights and look at what is actually heavy. In most cases, compressing images and removing unused plugins does more than any hosting upgrade.

If your site is built properly, the pages that matter should be usable in under two seconds on a normal mobile connection — not on office fibre.
